Snow Miku 2012 Fluffy Coat Ver. Nendoroid

Since it's almost Christmas, I figure I'll get in the spirit by posting up some loot I got a little while back but haven't had time to mention.

And that is the adorable Snow Miku Fluffy Coat Ver. Nendoroid!

The Gadget Show Live 2012

I attended the Gadget Show Live last Friday. I didn't see the live show again this year but I did get to wander around and look at (mostly useless) gadgets. (And phone cases, lots and lots of phone cases).

A gigantic TV with the most amazing, crisp display. IT WAS BEAUTIFUL. *A*

Hyper Japan Christmas 2012

I attended Hyper Japan Christmas 2012 this weekend. I'm not quite sure why they called it "Christmas" other than the fact it was held the month before Christmas as it wasn't really themed or anything. Apparantly there was a One Piece Christmas Tree, but I didn't see it.

I decided to cosplay as Tohsaka Rin from visual novel Fate/Stay Night. This is probably the only decent image I have with my hair curled. They'd fallen out by the time I got to the venue due to the wind and rain. T^T

It's Almost Christmas :D

So it's Christmas soon, and I've been given the task of decorating the shop! Yay!

An adorable, mini Xmas tree.

I'm back, having finally recovered from expo so now I get to relax for another 6 months. Well, actually there's still Xmas so the shop's sure to start getting busy soon! x_x

At MCM Expo October 2012 in my Haruhi cosplay! ^_^

Eurogamer Expo 2012

Went to Eurogamer Expo 2012 on the weekend with a few friends and it was awesome! Unfortunately, two of the games I was really looking forward to playing were already out (well, almost. Dead or Alive 5 had come out the day before the expo and Resident Evil 6 comes out today. YAY!) so there wasn't much on my "To Play" list.

Big, awesome car advertising for new game "Carmageddon Reincarnation" outside Earls Court.

Mirai Suenaga Nendoroid Available for Pre-Order

Mirai Suenaga, Danny Choo's adorable mascot, is coming to us in nendoroid form and is now available for pre-order!

This little cutie includes three facial expressions; her standard expression is based on Nao Shirahane's illustration of Mirai and her other two smiling expressions are based on illustrations from the Moekana cards illustrated by Ikkyuu.

Jade - Mortal Kombat - 10" Polystone Syco Collectibles Review

I finally received my Syco Collectibles Jade statue after being gutted about missing out on the pre-order for her. Luckily, a few people didn't pay up for their pre-orders so I managed to snag one! YAY! ^___^

This happens to be my first polystone figure. I've never been a fan of resin and polystone figures in the past as I've always thought the sculpt and paintjob wasn't up to the standard of the Japanese PVCs (such as the ones from the likes of Max Factory and Alter). But the moment I opened up her box, I was so amazed; she's gorgeous!

Shirtless Prep

Casually strolling down Regent Street when I see this:

A long line of fit, shirtless guys (and a couple of non-shirtless girls) stand outside the new Hollister/Gilly Hicks store in the freezing cold and raid to promote the opening next week. Yay!
Seriously though, it was freezing. Those poor guys. :p
I happened to come by just as they were starting to do this. About 5 minutes later, they were being swarmed with girls taking photos with them!

Although I prefer to shop in Abercrombie & Fitch, I'm looking forward to having a Hollister close by (and Gilly Hicks, cute undies and swimwear YAY!!)

Cuuuuute!!
And I am SOOOOO happy that a Super Sonico Nendoroid has finally been announced! Eeeeee! She's so cute! Definite pre-order!!

Broken Figures T_T

I somehow managed to break 3 figures in one day. o.O

Yui already had a broken base from being knocked over once before but I totally forgot about this whilst cleaning her and she fell off and hit the floor; snapping her poor guitar in half. T_T

I have no idea how Azusa broke. I picked her up and her base was slightly wobbly, so I wobbled it and it snapped off! I honestly don't know how that could've happened. T__________T

And then I unboxed Kasumi and found her knife had snapped off due to not being packaged properly. It's a clean break so I could probably re-glue that without anyone being able to notice.

Boo Hoo. They need to be super glued.

She has such a cute face!

She's really nicely detailed for such an old figure. I wish companies still made 1/6 scale figures, they're such a perfect size.

My favourite shot of her. ^_^

And my Kaito arrived! Now I just need to get a Miku to go with him, I really regret not ordering Miku Support Ver. at the time. T_T

New Costume Unlocked

Bonus costumes to come with the Premium Edition. Xbox gets Rider costume and Shell bikini and PS3 gets Waitress and Striped bikini. I'm loving the Rider suit and Shell bikini, the Waitress costume is so cute too.

This game just keeps getting better and better! Highschool of the Dead costumes!!! Juliet looks SO cute as Rei! I love this costume, it suits her so well, and her hair is adorable too. ^_^

Not as cute as the Rei costume but still awesome. Saeko is so cool!

<3

From "Kore wa Zombie Desu Ka?". I've yet to watch this series but after seeing this adorable outfit, I may just have to.

Deadman Wonderland

Manyu Hiken-cho

Video below showing off the alternate outfits. It looks like there's even a few more in the video!

This game is absolutely packed with alternate costumes! And Juliet sounds SO CUTE in Japanese! I really hope there's an option to use her Japanese voice instead.

I'm not so sure about this one.

Just reminds me of Silent Hill >.<

Cuuuuute!

And then of course, there's the pre-order bonuses:

HAIL TO THE KING, BABY!

Fuck yes for Jimmy Urine! <3<3<3

Retro

Goth Girl

Aswell as a few others.

I'm also really loving the box art for the premium edition.

I really, really hope we at least get some of these costumes (especially the Highschool of the Dead ones. Soooooo cute!!)

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City loot!!

I pre-ordered this from Propel Gamer in the end as my GAME pre-order fell through. I was going to pre-order with Amazon but Propel Gamer had the best pre-order bonus on offer so I went with them instead.

Here we have my game (which arrived on the day, so I'm happy with the service provided by Propel Gamer), a pre-order t-shirt (despite it being far tolo big for me, I actually quite like it, especially the colour. I'll be using this as a work out/cool down shirt when I go for a run ^_^) and a pair of headphones (aswell as two DLC weapon packs).

Aren't these awesome? I won them in a competition. Sadly, I don't currently own a PS3 so I can't use them but I collect Resident Evil merchendise so I appreciate them none the less.

So cooool.

I spent about half a day on the game and it's actually not bad. Not amazing, but not bad. The game really could've benefitted from a flashlight (some rooms and areas are so dark you can't see a thing) and I seem to die alot (which can be pretty frustrating) but it is quite an enjoyable game.

It'd be nice if they included some more familiar areas from the older games (like exploring more of the RPD building, sewers and underground labs) but I haven't yet finished the game so maybe (hopefully) there will be more of that to come.

CDJapan Loot - ArConomi Brand

I received my order from CDJapan which I was hoping would arrive before HyperJapan (as I was planning on wearing this to it) but it came a few days after. >.<

Nevermind.

I really love the school girl fashion worn in Japan, Kogal, I believe it's called.

All these items are made by clothing brand ArConomi and ordered from CDJapan. I had a good experience with them; they offered loads of different shipping options (rather than the standard SAL and EMS), offered to mark the item as a gift (yay for no customs fees ^_^) and it came quickly and really well packaged.

I'd ordered the Grey Wool & Acrylic Cardigan (the comfiest cardigan I have ever worn. OMG *_*), Navy x Blue School Skirt (I'd hoped it'd be shorter. The girls advertising the products always have short skirts but this comes up to my knees. I'm not exactly short so I'm wondering if they just roll them up or modify them. Still, it's a lovely skirt and VERY good quality), School Ribbon and School Necktie (so cute!!).

ArConomi brand Original Loafers. They're so stiff and tight at the moment and a little bit painful to walk in so I hope they loosen up a bit. When I wear them, they make my feet look so small and cute, I love them!

(I should've cleaned them a bit before taking the picture but I didn't notice that until just now OTL)

KAWAII DESU EYELASHES! Now all I need is some circle lenses and I'm all set. >.<

Oh and the Queen visited Fortnum & Mason while I was walking through London. Just thought I'd share that.

I didn't get to see her though.

London Super Comic Convention & Hyper Japan

So I went to the London Super Comic Convention on 25th February. The legendary Stan Lee was in attendance. He was sat in a booth for the majority of the day and I didn't attend his panel so I didn't even get to see him. :<

The hall mainly consisted of rows of dealers tables selling old comics. There was also the artist alley section with people selling their own original comics and artwork and booths to get your comics signed by various comic book artists.

My last minute Gogo Yubari cosplay. I didn't get a chance to make her weapon. T_T

Comics!

I just liked the cover art of the comics. I may have to pick them up to see what they're about.

Sadly, there wasn't much to take photos of. Most of the hall consisted of dealers tables that looked like this.

It wasn't the best convention and I probably won't be attending next year if they decide to have another one.

I made a deal with my friend that if I went to the comic convention with him then he'd go to the Japanese culture convention with me. So... the very next day we hopped along to Hyper Japan!

Miku Itasha - Part 1

I know it's a bit late, but I've just thought of a great New Year's resolution: to take more pictures! Sadly I don't take many pictures but hopefully this year I'll change that! ^_^

Racing Miku 2010 Porsche Itasha Model Kit
Picked this up at TokyoToys and I'm looking forward to building it. I'm a big fan of Miku and shiny cars ^_^

All the parts that come with it. The instructions are in Japanese but it shouldn't be too hard to figure out. Similar to Gundams, it's like building Lego. :p

Pretty stickers to decorate my car with. If only I had a Miku car IRL. ^_^'

Oh and speaking of Gundams, here is my first and only one. An SD Strike Freedom! So adorable! I need to get a black fineliner at some point to make it look a bit better. I'd also really love to get the MG Strike Freedom model but for now this one will do. <3
